Kovan Neighbourhood Christian Community (KNCC)

Our Kovan NCC (KNCC) was formed in 2000, with members living around the Kovan neighbourhood.
We are grateful to God that He has held us together for the past 23 years.
We have more than 20 members in our group, and meet once a month to share the gospel, in one another’s home.

Besides meeting regularly for spiritual enrichment, the KNCC has been active
in supporting:

• The parish Sunday canteen
• Praying at the grotto during the May and October Rosary month
• Assisi Hospice Charity Fair
• St Pio Devotion Group
• Outreach – in March 2023 we visited the Kluang Miriam Home for the Aged and raising funds for their needs (Miriam Home is run by the Canossian Sisters)
• Since September 2022 as COVID eases, we started a monthly trail walk where we invite other family members/friends/parishioners to join in as part of our keep healthy/foster togetherness effort.

These programmes not only give us a sense of belonging in the parish community but also bond our relationship with God and with each other. We have also witnessed God’s intervention in our lives and answering our prayers. And we give thanks to God for all the Spiritual Directors that He bestow to KNCC
