The First Glorious Mystery
The Resurrection
(LUKE 24: 3-8)
Let us offer this Decade for our Holy Father the Pope to have the strength to withstand the persecutions being directed against the Church.
Three days after the Crucifixion, very early on Sunday morning, Christ came out of His tomb in glorified form, as He had so many times foretold. The guards, seeing the tomb empty, fled in terror. Our bodies too will be glorified on the last day, if we die in God’s friendship. The damned will not be glorified, rather the reverse.
REFLECTION: As we pray this mystery, let us recall some of our glorious resurrection experiences.

The Second Glorious Mystery
The Ascension
(LUKE 24: 50-53)
Let us offer this Decade for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and for the intentions that are in the petition box.
Forty days after the Resurrection, our beloved Saviour commanded His apostles to go and preach the Good News to all nations. After
blessing them, in the presence of the five hundred people gathered
there, He rose heavenward. As disciples of Christ ourselves, we must live according to the Ten Commandments if we wish to gain the eternal joys of heaven.
REFLECTION: As we pray this mystery, let us ask God for the grace to fight our temptations of sin and be fully like Jesus.

The Third Glorious Mystery
The Descent Of The Holy Spirit
(ACTS 2: 1-43)
Let us offer this Decade for the blasphemies and sacrileges committed against the Holy Eucharist and for the unbelievers and also for those in
their last agony.
Ten days after Christ’s Ascension, the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin, as Jesus had promised them. He
appeared in the form of tongues of fire resting above
their heads. We too received the Holy Spirit at Confirmation, and should be apostles in our
little way, to help our non-Catholic brethren into the true church.
REFLECTION: As we pray this mystery, let us be aware of God’s
Holy Spirit in us and do what He commands of us.

The Fourth Glorious Mystery
The Assumption
(APOC 12 : 1)
Let us offer this Decade for the universal triumph of the Church by daily Mass and Holy Communion and the enthronement of the Sacred Heart of
Jesus and Mary in every home.
About three days after the burial of Mary, the apostles went to her tomb to pray, and discovered, to their profound amazement, that the sacred body was no longer there. It was therefore clear that God did not permit this sinless body to corrupt in the tomb, but ordered the angels to take her up to heaven, body and soul united.
REFLECTION: As we pray this mystery, let us reflect on the glorious deeds God has done in our lives.

The Fifth Glorious Mystery
The Coronation
(APOC 12 : 1)
Let us offer this Decade for the more sacrifices, prayers and penance as requested by Our Lady.
As soon as the humble Virgin Mary entered Heaven, God exalted her to such a wonderful degree of glory, that all the inhabitants of heaven,
Angels as well as Saints, acclaimed her as their Queen. Mary revealed to Blessed Alanus that God has chosen the Hail Mary prayer to be a special
means of saving our soul.
REFLECTION: As we pray this mystery, let us take a delight in saying this rosary prayer every day without fail.
