❤️‍🔥 Theme: “THE TRIUMPH OF THE SPIRIT in MARY, the MOTHER of JESUS” ❤️‍🔥

Join us as we journey deeper into the mystery of Mary’s role in our lives. Through prayer, reflection, and teaching, we will discover how the Spirit triumphed in Mary and how her example continues to guide us today.

Led by Rev. Fr. Paul Yeo, this Retreat offers an opportunity to grow in knowledge, contemplation, and spiritual direction, while experiencing the maternal love of Mary that leads us closer to her Son, Jesus.

Fr. Paul, Asst. Parish Priest from the Church of St. Bernadette, holds a Masters in Theology and a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas (Rome). He was awarded a Fellowship in Public Speaking from the London College of Music and Speech and holds a Licentiate in Teaching Effective Communication from Trinity Colllege London. For more than a decade he has taught Seminarians the Spirituality of Communication and Rhetoric.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

On 8 September 2025, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Archdiocese will launch the Pastoral Plan: Communion in Mission — the fruit of more than 4 years of prayer, discernment, and conversations involving over 1,000 clergy, religious, and laity.

This plan calls the whole Church in Singapore to greater unity in living out the mission entrusted to us by Christ, and sets out 5 pastoral priorities to guide our journey together.

🎥 Archbishop William Goh’s pastoral message will be screened at all Masses this weekend (6 & 7 September). If you miss it, the video will also be available on the Archdiocesan YouTube channel from 6 September, as well as on all our social media platforms, especially our IHM YouTube page.

🪧 You will also receive cards explaining the Pastoral Plan at Mass this weekend, do take one home and share it with your family.

🙏 From October onwards, we will unite as one Church by including monthly prayer intentions from the Pastoral Plan in the Prayer of the Faithful, on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

As we take this step together as an Archdiocesan family, let us entrust our mission to our Blessed Mother, the first missionary of the Church, and ask her intercession that we may proclaim Christ faithfully in our time.
